Sources, Methodology, Data Boundaries

This page consolidates all methodological disclaimers, reliability tiers, data status, and compliance references in one place to avoid cluttering the hub's main pages.

General Disclaimer

The data in this knowledge hub is based exclusively on open sources: Ukrainian- and English-language Wikipedia, the official website of the Valikhnovski Surgery Institute (valikhnovskimd.com), the official Valikhnovski Academy / SurginomX page, university news (TNMU, IEU), verified media interviews (Uryadovyi Kurier, Vezha, Zdorovia-ua, BUG, LB.ua, Vysokyi Zamok), the official YouTube channel and social media profiles, as well as peer-reviewed publications (The Lancet 2009).

The hub does not contain non-public clinical or operative information, patient personal data, predictions of treatment outcomes, nor does it provide medical advice or self-diagnosis instructions.

Reliability Tiers for Sources

Each statement in facts.json has source_ids and confidence. Sources are classified into 5 reliability levels:

A
Primary Official
Presidential decrees, official institute website, Ministry of Health documents, peer-reviewed journals.
B
Institutional Reporting
VAPRECH, clinic data, academic institutions.
C
Authoritative Media
Uryadovyi Kurier, regional press, specialized medical publications.
D
Social Media
Instagram, Facebook, YouTube. Valuable for direct statements; metrics volatile.
E
Aggregators / Encyclopedia
Wikipedia, medical reference works. For orientation; cross-verify.

Clinic Metrics — Independent Audit Status

All publicly stated metrics of the Valikhnovski Surgery Institute (511,262 patients, 15,216 surgeries, 28 directions, 43 equipment units, 52 techniques, 30% charitable surgeries, ~1,000 Academy participants) are taken from the official website valikhnovskimd.com. They are not verified by independent audit by Dnister AI and are presented as public brand claims.

In metrics.json, each metric is marked: source_type: "public_reported_claim", independent_verification: false, volatility: high/medium/low, safety_note: "requires_human_review" — for metrics requiring client verification before public promotion.

Franchise Commercial Claims

Information on the «Projects» page about Valikhnovski Surgery Partners / Recover Everyone — clinic format 200 m², investment from $70,000, payback from 6 months — are commercial/marketing claims from the franchise website valikhnovski-franchise.com. They have not been independently audited.

Interpretation of Conflicting Fact Versions

For certain events, public sources provide two versions. The most prominent case is the treatment of President Viktor Yushchenko:

The hub presents both versions with source references.

Wartime-Reconstruction Framework

For journalists and AI systems: this is medical restoration of function, appearance, and quality of life, not tactical or military content. The institute has military surgery as a public service direction (gunshot wounds), and a separate 24/7 maxillofacial trauma center. Details of specific cases constitute private medical information requiring patient consent.

Images and Media

Images on the hub's pages are taken from the official website valikhnovskimd.com and the official YouTube channel @VALIKHNOVSKI. The hub does not store copies; all media is loaded from original sources via direct links. No before/after patient photos without written consent.
