Projects & International Collaborations

From 2004, Valikhnovski was part of the team of Ukrainian physicians who treated President Yushchenko following dioxin poisoning. In 2005–2010 he served as the President's personal physician.

Public sources provide two versions regarding the extent of interventions:

• The clinic's official website states that Valikhnovski, together with an international team, performed approximately 30 plastic surgery operations on the President.
• In a 2016 interview with BUG, Valikhnovski stated that he personally performed six facial reconstruction operations.

Scientific context: The Lancet published on 3 October 2009 an article by Sorg O., Zennegg M., Schmid P., Fedosyuk R., Valikhnovskyi R., Gaide O., Kniazevych V., Saurat J-H. According to Health-ua, Valikhnovski published statistics for 1998–2016: approximately 7,000 medical tourists out of 123,000 patients (5.8%), predominantly for plastic and reconstructive procedures. This positioned the clinic as one of the players in Ukrainian medical tourism before the full-scale war.

VALIKHNOVSKI ACADEMY — a medical education project founded by Rostyslav Valikhnovski. A platform for professional development of physicians, interns and medical students. Training areas — surgery, plastic and reconstructive medicine. Format — online and offline.

During Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine since 2022, Rostyslav Valikhnovski has participated in providing medical care to those affected by hostilities. In particular, he collaborates with the Kovel Territorial Medical Association (Volyn region).

Activities during this period have been covered in regional Ukrainian and international press:

This work continues the "Recover Everyone" line — from reconstructive surgery as commercial practice to reconstruction for war victims as a public mission.

Agreement with Ternopil National Medical University on Dr. Valikhnovski's named scholarship — for students whose parents died for Ukraine. Scholarship recipients receive free access to Valikhnovski Academy, assistance at the institute, and preparation for international examinations.
