Military surgical assistance (from 2022)
During Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine since 2022, Rostyslav Valikhnovski has been involved in providing medical assistance to victims of military operations. In particular, he collaborates with the Territorial Medical Association of Kovel (Volyn Oblast).
Activity during this period has been covered in regional Ukrainian and international press:
- Gazeta Volyn — «Renowned surgeon Valikhnovski will continue to cooperate with Kovel MTMO»
- Konkurent — «Doctor Valikhnovski came to Volyn to operate on soldiers»
- ELLE (France) — report «Ces chirurgiens qui tentent de reparer les survivants»
- Tribune de Genève — «Le verre des vitres m'a creve le visage» (patient testimony)
The work continues the «Recover Everyone» line — from reconstructive surgery as commercial practice to reconstruction for war victims as a public mission.
