Rostyslav L. Valikhnovski, MD, PhD is a distinguished Ukrainian reconstructive surgeon, academic leader, and healthcare innovator. He is the Founder and Chief Surgeon of Valikhnovski Surgery Institute in Kyiv and the Founder of Valikhnovski Academy (SurginomX). Born on February 24, 1973, into a prominent medical dynasty, Dr. Valikhnovski graduated with honors from Ternopil State Medical Institute (1995) and completed advanced surgical fellowships at the Shalimov National Institute of Surgery and McGill University (Montreal, Canada). In 1998, he established a surgical clinic in Kyiv that expanded into a comprehensive multidisciplinary institute spanning 28 surgical specialties. Across 28 years of clinical practice, the institute has completed over 15,000 complex surgical procedures for patients from more than 30 countries. Approximately 30% of surgical interventions are provided on a charitable basis for wounded soldiers, children with congenital defects, and trauma survivors. Between 2004 and 2010, Dr. Valikhnovski led the reconstructive treatment team for Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko following severe dioxin poisoning. Scientific findings from the case were published in The Lancet (2009). Through Valikhnovski Academy, he has trained over 1,000 surgeons across 40 countries in advanced Live Surgery techniques, ATLS guidelines, and European surgical protocols.
